Caitlin is a Senior Engagement Specialist with over 15 years of experience in the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors both overseas, in Sydney and regional NSW. Caitlin brings a deep understanding of the complexities of natural hazards and resilience planning and policy development while delivering urban development, infrastructure, transport, and environmental projects.
Caitlin has advised the government on the appropriate community and strategic engagement approach to involve their community, stakeholders, and senior management early in the development of flood studies, floodplain risk management studies and plans, and coastal management programs. Caitlin is also a planner and she applies this understanding alongside her engagement expertise when facilitating stakeholder and community sessions and when developing collateral to simplify the process and information. Prior to joining Rhelm Caitlin was an engagement and stakeholder manager at the City of Newcastle, Department of Planning and Environment, Transport for NSW, and City of Sydney.
