Urban & Transport Infrastructure
Urban infrastructure underpins the essential services of sustainable cities. Rhelm is able to provide coordination of urban infrastructure identification and renewal in existing towns and cities as well as planning and conceptualisation of urban infrastructure for new towns and cities. Our team also provides specialist services in urban stormwater drainage analysis and design (including complex riparian corridor analysis and design, water sensitive urban design and water cycle analysis).
Our decisions about transportation determine much more than where roads or bridges or tunnels or rail lines will be built. They determine the connections and barriers that people will encounter in their daily lives – and thus how hard or easy it will be for people to get where they need and want to go.

Rhelm have supported new and renewal projects for numerous modes of transport including road, rail, air, river and sea. Our work spans harbours, cities, tunnels, plains and mountains.
Rhelm has experienced project managers, both in environmental and water resource related disciplines, as well as in large infrastructure design projects. Our team has managed projects ranging from consulting values of $150,000 up to $3 million.
We are not just project managers, but engineers and scientists who have a solid understanding in the different disciplines. We communicate effectively with a project team, and coordinate with the team to ensure a collaborative approach that ensures the best possible outcome for a client.
Our projects range from the management of floodplain risk management studies in Australia, environmental impact assessment globally and the management of road infrastructure and bridge infrastructure design projects in PNG and the Pacific.
